Heritage Pet Services

Heritage Pet Services was created to provide a sensitive and compassionate alternative for pet owners. The loss of a pet is an emotional event for every family – young and old. As the owners of Heritage Pet Services, John and Francy Falk know first hand how families feel following the loss of a pet. They have successfully bred and raised dogs and horses on their farm in Stark County for over a decade. There is no better feeling than welcoming a new pup or foal into the world. It’s a time of excitement and joy. But every so often, we loose a member of our pet family. The feeling is one of emptiness and grief.

Following the loss of a family pet, many people cannot emotionally handle the task at hand. The thought of leaving their pet at a veterinary clinic or to be disposed of by the city or municipality is difficult. Some see the backyard burial as a viable alternative; however this is not a recommended option in most cities.

Heritage Pet Services provides a dignified option for pet owners. Our professional staff will see to every detail including removal from your residence or veterinarian’s office, complete cremation or burial services and options for properly memorializing your beloved friend. Our staff is available 24 hours a day to answer any questions you may have. In accordance with the laws governing cremation in the state of Ohio, and CANA, the Cremation Association of North American, Heritage Pet Services does not utilize the same cremation chambers used for humans. Humans and pets are cremated in separate cremation facilities.

At Heritage Pet Services, the one constant is our staff. When you loose a beloved pet expect to see the same member of our staff that might have been there for you during the loss an uncle or grandparent. Our staff is professional, experienced and will understand your loss. We do not endorse nor practice community cremation. Each cremation is a single cremation.

Our fees are based on the size and weight of the pet to be cremated. Payment in full is required at the time our services are rendered. We accept Visa, MasterCard, personal checks, cash and money orders.
